Cecilia Petterson, daughter of Pelle Petterson, is the founder and designer of PelleP. She grew up sailing in competitions and going on skiing adventures with her father. The brand was created in 2006, taking inspiration from Pelle’s own lifestyle and achievements as an athlete.
The collections range from technical wear for the sea and skiing to pieces that can be worn on the golf course or in the city. The environment has always been very important to the company and one of its goals is to have minimal environmental impact. This includes using materials that can withstand severe wear and tear while minimising environmental impact. The technologies used to recycle fabrics are currently evolving. Pelle P uses recycled polyester in many of its fabrics and insulation materials. With each new collection, more recycled materials are used and the company is constantly evolving with the help of innovative partners.
Pelle P understands that everyone must take responsibility for changing their environmental impact. Therefore, it is important to keep developing innovations designed to minimise environmental impact. The material of clothing is crucial in terms of its quality and functionality. When making new clothing, the first step is usually choosing the material. The design and function come later.
Pelle P’s True Experience sailing collection is based on real athletic experience, which no one understands better than Pelle Petterson. Pelle P sailing clothing has been created for the best sailing experience based on real knowledge.
