Knitted windproof vest with water-repellent quilted details. The vest is milano knitted in 100% exclusive wool yarn that is certified with bluesign®. High collar with knitted cotton on the inside. Pockets on the sides, two-way zipper and reflective details. The water-repellent quilted details have a membrane made of Swedish wool. The lining is windproof and consists of 96% polyester and 4% elastane. No chemicals are used to achieve the windproof function. Instead, the lining is manufactured with a special weaving technique that makes the fabric extremely tightly woven and therefore also windproof, while the fabric breathes. The water-repellent material (Piumi®) has a treatment that creates a water-repellent function. The treatment is ecological and free from fluorocarbon, which is a common chemical used to create waterproof fabrics. Piumi is also a material that breathes. The elastane makes the fabric stretchy, which means it stops the wind but not the movement. The fabrics are labeled with ÖKO-tex® Standard 100, which guarantees that the fabric is free from harmful substances. Sustainably made in Europe.
